Lol... I know... Weird title... Anyway, here's the verdict, camp was a BLAST!!! And I mean literally... As in it was fun most of the time and a not so fun at sometimes. But still one of the best prefect camps I've been to so far. Good job O.C's! It must have been real hard to put the pieces together. So, here it goes.
The first day.
Hmm... Well, went to school with Christy, got my tag from my group leader manveer, by the way, I was in group one. In my group was Manveer, me, Barret, Christopher, Leonard, Izzati, Lucas, Maria, Farah, Soffiyah and Sue Anne. And yes. I was the oldest girl in my group. Sat on the bus with Prasanna. Went for lunch at some stop. Lunch was of course, tasteless... Got a big cracker from my G.A. (guardian angel) and I do mean cracker as in food. It was the size of a big plate!!! And there were 3 of them!!! Lol... Went back to the bus and played with Li-Kenn's lovely fedora hat!!! (Thanks Kenn!!!) And after that, we finally reached our destination a while later. At first, the place seemed to be very painful to the eyes. But after a while, I kinda got used to it. To tell you the truth, it looked way better than the camps before. At first, the girls got the upstairs dorm while the guys were downstairs. After everyone was settled in, they suddenly made a switch because there were not enough beds for the guys downstairs and plenty unused beds upstairs. We went for our first activity in the Dewan which was much nicer compared to many others before. (Obviously!!!) The only bad thing about this place was that it was fly infested!!! And I mean INFESTED!!! Everywhere you went there were flies!!! An average of 10 flies per person!!! Ok, ok maybe not so much but an average of 5 or more definitely!!! And there are like 105 people!!! So you do the math... Then we had some games and stuff. We then went to the so called 'padang' and did some sort of senam robik/dance thingy. After that, we had dinner. It was just so unappetizing that I skipped it. And my G.A. gave me and empty plate!!! Then we had some activities in the dewan. After that we all went to sleep.
The second day.
Well, we got up, did some senam robik again, went back to the dorm to freshen up and I gave my mortal some cheezels and then went to the cafeteria for breakfast. And again, it was terribly unappetizing and so I skipped my breakfast. We started our 6 hour race which consists of a fear factor competition, jungle trekking and river crossing and an explorace with the fear factor competition. But before that, we were given a loaf of bread, a can of kaya and a 5.5 litre bottle of water to last 11 of us for the rest of the day! Is that stupid or what?! Thank goodness group one went first because we only had to put a live worm in our mouth while others had to eat it. Blech!!! Then one member of our team which was manveer had to eat a raw salted egg!!! Double blech!!! Then we ran to our next destination which was a bridge. There we found out that we had to kiss an ugly, slimy, creepy, disgusting, annoying frog!!! And it was huge!!! Triple blech!!! Then we all had to share a raw egg. We then ran up a stupid steep hill and did the usual obstacle course. We ran back down and went back to our first stop thinking we had finished this challenge. But oh were we wrong... There was one more stop! So we ran there and realised that we had to have a 'Malaysian sandwich' and eat the 'apple of Malaysia' in order to finish this challenge. The Malaysian sandwich was bread from the loaf we were given earlier, belacan as in uncooked and cincalok, uncooked as well. Disgusting right? Where as the 'apple of Malaysia' was a big, green, smelly, spicy, throat burning onion that almost brought me to tears!!! Everyone was really wanting to throw up but alas we could not because we would lose 5000 points... Stupid right??? So everyone kept drinking water to stop the burning. And don't forget! It was supposed to last us for the entire day!!! Then when that was finally over, we started our next activity. Jungle trekking and river crossing. Well the jungle was of course like any other jungle I had been to before but then I certainly got more injured this time. And my shoe soles broke so my feet were almost exposed to the groud if it wasn't for the cloth and sponge layer. Everyone else got leaches stuck to them and sucking their blood but I had to get poked by thorns. Man, you could see almost everyones shirt stained with blood due to the leaches dropping off their skin or getting squished. Then we went down a steep, dry, desert like clay hill. We finally finished our 3 hour hike and I was dying of thirst and my stomach was killing me due to me not eating.Everyone sat on the grass and looked dead. I almost felt like I was about to die of thirst and stomach pain!!! So I finally surrendered and went to the river to fill up the 5.5 litre bottle which was empty with so called 'dangerous' river water while the others finished up the bread and kaya. But what was I to do? Die of thirst? That was definitely not the way I planned of dying. We waited on that field for at least an hour because the O.C's were deciding whether we would continue with the explorace and cancel the night walk or the other way around. But they finally decided to continue with the explorace and not go for the night walk which I personally think was a good idea. So they started the explorace of with smsing us some questions. The objective of the explorace was to get 40 peoples name, ic number, job and etc. We also had to get 12 stamps and signatures of big companies from the town nearby. So we walked all the way to the small, quiet town while it was raining through lots of estates which were kind of scary. After stopping by a few houses, it stopped raining. We then reached our first big company. A police station, where we had to wash and clean two cells and the toilet... The cells were scary and dark with writings on the wall. It was just a small room with a blue metal cell gate and a platform on the floor and 3 very small, high up windows on the wall. The toilet was just like your average school toilet only cleaner, bigger, a metal pipe sticking out of the wall for a shower and a cell gate for a door. Me and the other girls I think washed the toilet while the rest swept the cells. Then we went to a petrol station and then a mosque. By then it started to rain again. While the so called trainers sat on their butts at the bus stop while we went walking aimlessly around the ghost town, the teachers had no idea where we were. When they realised where we were, they gave the trainers a real scorching because we should not be allowed out unsupervised. The trainers kept trying to deny their wrong doings and soon after the teachers gave up. The trainers kept trying to taunt us by telling us about how the other teams were back at the training center having their dinner. Me, being already tired, thirsty and hungry really couldn't care less about what they were trying to do. Manveer wanted to walk back to the training centre because the trainers said it was only a 5 minute walk back but was stopped because one, the teachers would not allow it and two, we would lose 10 000 points. So we kept trying and trying to hitch a ride while watching others go by in cars both small and big. We finally came across a lovely couple who was riding their storm car when we stopped them and asked them to give us a ride. Willingly, they agreed! We were overjoyed!!! Some of us including me stood up and held on tightly to the car while the wind and rain water combined blew on our faces. It was the best experience I had at the camp. And it also turned out that it was a 5 minute driving distance back and not walking distance! If we had actually walked, we would have taken at least half an hours time!!! When we got back, I finally made myself eat. This particular meal wasn't to bad I guess. At least it was better than the ones before. Got another empty plate from my G.A. After that we all went back to the dorm to get ready for our malam kebudayaan which theme was pirates. The guys idea of a pirate costume was a fake hoop earring. Of course they tried lying to me and saying that they really pierced their ears with a needle and candle but of course I didn't fall for it. I mean, come on la... Do you really think I'm that stupid? Lol... And besides, its for little girls!!! Not guys!!! That's why it kept falling of and couldn't fit your ear!!! We then had some games, the O.C's did a really great performance. The seniors also did a performance. After that, we went to the the cafeteria to listen to some very painful karaoke songs and for supper where I gave my mortal a drink. After that, it was finally siesta time...
The third day.
We got called to wake up by the O.C's at 5.45 and we, me, Christy, Ashley and Nadine, not caring about the wake up call, went back to sleep. We were asked to wake up 10 times and went back to sleep everytime! I'm sorry O.C's!!! We were just so tired!!! We eventually got up at about 7 something. Gave my mortal some sweets as she kept begging for her G.A to give her some! Had some team activities and stuff and then went back to the dorm to get dressed into our uniforms for the majlis penutupan. My G.A. then gave me a chocolate bar. Then I finally found out that my G.A. was Rahman!!! My mortal, Nurul Asyiqin, was totally surprised that I was her G.A. cause I really tried my best to convince her that it was a guy and that I did not give my mortal anything! Finally we got onto the bus and went back home. The journey for me certainly was short as I fell asleep!!!
So that's it!!! I really hope you enjoy reading this post just as much as I enjoyed writing and experiencing it!!!
Bye!!!

Wah! Sounds like an exhausting trip just from reading about it! Actually you are right. It is very dangerous to give 1 bottle of water for 11 people to share for the whole day! 1 person should have 1 bottle as a minimum.
Yeah!!!! Totally!!!! :P We had to drink river water!!!!
